THE ROLE OF INNOVATIVE PEDAGOGICAL APPROACHES AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
Entrepreneurship education plays a crucial role in fostering innovation,
economic growth, and job creation. This article examines pedagogical approaches
such as project-based learning, design thinking, and experiential education,
analysing how they help develop entrepreneurial skills among students.
Additionally, the integration of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence,
virtual reality, and online learning platforms in entrepreneurship education is
explored.
The article discusses how successful programs, such as Stanford StartX
(USA), Young Entrepreneurs Academy (South Korea), IIM incubation centres
(India), and the Tony Elumelu Foundation (Africa), contribute to entrepreneurship
education's impact on business success and social influence. Furthermore, the article
explores the future of entrepreneurship education, specifically addressing
personalized learning, industry and academic collaborations, and approaches to
solving global challenges. The research concludes that entrepreneurship education
must adapt to technological advancements and political changes to effectively shape
future entrepreneurs.
