The purpose of the study was to establish the frequency of occurrence, clinical characteristics,
and diagnosis of interstitial lung pneumonia in the activities of the pulmonology department of hospitals. To
identify the frequency of occurrence, clinical characteristics, and diagnosis of interstitial pneumonia in the
pulmonary department of hospitals, a retrospective analysis of case histories of 22 patients with nonspecific
inter¬stitial pneumonia who were hospitalized in the pulmonology department of the Samarkand medical
association was performed. An increase was found in patients with interstitial lung diseases, which are
observed more often in women of working age, with prevalence of dyspnea, weakness, cough in the clinic, and
the importance of the use of imaging technologies is indicated. Among the causes, it is necessary to note the
presence of rheumatic diseases (systemic scleroderma, polymyositis), and rare ones - Goodpasture's syndrome,
histiocytosis X, drug and allergic alveolitis. Consultation of a pulmonologist is recommended for patients with
rheumatic diseases.

The article is devoted to specific signs of non-specific interstitial pneumonia revealed by using
radiation diagnostic methods. The material was a retrospective analysis of case histories of 200 patients with
non-specific interstitial pneumonia who were hospitalized in the pulmonology department of the Samarkand
City Medical Hospital. All patients underwent general clinical standards of research according to ICD-10, in
addition, all underwent high-resolution X-ray and computed tomography. All patients underwent highresolution CT for the purpose of differential diagnosis. In this case, typical signs of non-specific interstitial
pneumonia were revealed, including a decrease in the transparency of the lung tissue according to the "ground
glass" type, traction bronchiectasis and bronchioloectasis, thickening of the interlobular septa, and a decrease
in the volume of the lower lobes. In particular, it was noted that for patients with the cellular subtype, the
prevalence of "ground glass" and the absence of "honeycomb lung" is typical, and with the fibrous or mixed
subtype, all four main radiological syndromes are expressed simultaneously to varying degrees, as well as
(often, but not always) "honeycomb lung". The presence of symmetrical thin subpleural stripes of preserved
lung tissue, followed by reticular and inflammatory changes, was established.

The article is devoted to thymus atrophy. It was revealed that from the morphological point of
view, atrophy is similar to age-related involution: the division into cortex and medulla disappears, the thymus
is replaced by connective and adipose tissue, and the number of mitoses decreases, according to
bromodeoxyuridine staining. A significant difference between atrophy and age-related involution is the fact
that when the factor causing induced atrophy is eliminated, the thymus is restored, while in age-related
involution, reverse restoration of the thymus is not observed.

The article is devoted to age-related involution of the thymus. It has been established that with
pronounced atrophy, the thymus still performs its function and supports the differentiation of T cells.
Apparently, age-related involution is a quantitative, not a qualitative process, since there is evidence of fullfledged proliferation of thymocytes and rearrangement of TcR in the aging thymus. In addition, from a
histological point of view, the residual zones of the cortex and medulla look normal and remain
immunocompetent, and the role of the thymus in the renewal of the peripheral pool of T lymphocytes after
antiretroviral therapy, chemotherapy and transplantation of hematopoietic stem cells in adults has been noted.

В данной работе изучено влияние экстрактов растений Anisum vulgare Gaertn и Coriandrum sativum L. на уровень малонового диальдегида (МДА), продукта перекисного окисления липидов, и активность антиоксидантных ферментов в печени крыс с экспериментальным диабетом. Экспериментальный диабет был вызван с помощью стрептозотоцина. В ходе исследования определены показатели МДА, а также активность ключевых антиоксидантных ферментов, таких как супероксиддисмутаза (СОД), каталаза (КАТ) и глутатионпероксидаза (ГП).

Результаты показали, что применение экстрактов Anisum vulgare и Coriandrum sativum снижает уровень МДА, свидетельствуя о снижении интенсивности процессов перекисного окисления липидов. При этом наблюдалось увеличение активности антиоксидантных ферментов, что указывает на усиление антиоксидантной защиты организма. Эффект был наиболее выражен при использовании комбинации экстрактов.

Полученные данные подтверждают потенциал экстрактов Anisum vulgare и Coriandrum sativum как природных антиоксидантов для коррекции окислительного стресса при диабете.
