Abstract

Formation of lexical skills seems to be one of the most difficult problems of modern linguodidactics.
Psycholinguistic features of lexical skill as a component of communicative competence, i.e. the ability to carry
out foreign-language communication, allow us to identify a number of questions, the answers to which
determine the effectiveness of foreign-language education in general.
