RARE BIRDS ENTERED IN THE "RED BOOK" IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

This article discusses the life of birds in Uzbekistan, which are
included in the “Red Book”. The Republic of Uzbekistan is famous for its natural
resources, including rare and endangered bird species. Birds play an important role
not only in maintaining the stability of the ecosystem, but also in combating pests in
agriculture. Unfortunately, due to human activity and changes in the natural
environment, many bird species are under threat of extinction. Therefore, the
government of Uzbekistan has included some of them in the “Red Book”
