Abstract

The article addresses the problem of increasing students'
motivation to learn the Russian language in modern conditions. It analyzes the
potential of game technologies as an effective tool for forming and developing the
motivational-value component of the educational process. The main types of game
technologies applicable in Russian language lessons and the mechanisms of their
impact on internal and external motivation, as well as on the formation of the
subject's personal significance for students, are described. The thesis is substantiated
that the purposeful and methodologically competent use of game elements
contributes to creating a positive emotional atmosphere, increasing engagement, and
fostering a conscious attitude towards language learning
