HISTORIOGRAPHY OF THE REPRESSIONS OF 1937-1938 AND THEIR CONSEQUENCES
Abstract
One of the most painful and sad pages in the history of Uzbekistan during the Soviet era is the collectivization of agriculture in the 1920s and 1930s and the subsequent exile, deportation and repression of peasants subject to collectivization. The article, based on historical evidence from the historiography of history, examines the policy of repression that began in 1937-1938 and its
consequences for the education system.
