IMPROVING THE ATTRACTION OF FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT TO INVESTMENT PROJECT IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to conduct an empirical study of the short-term and longterm relationship of factors affecting the economic development of the Republic of Uzbekistan. To study and analyze the positive and negative aspects of foreign direct investment in the economy of Uzbekistan. in order to achieve this goal, we have selected factors that are part of the country's economic potential and traditional economy in the period from 2004 to 2023. A quantitative approach was used to achieve this goal. In particular, econometric modeling of empirical studies has been widely used. That is, OLS (ordinary least square) and VAR (vector-autoregression) models were effectively used in time series.
