Abstract

The article examines the theoretical, methodological, and applied
aspects of the development of physical qualities in athletes specializing in various
types of martial arts. Particular attention is given to the differentiation of
requirements for physical training depending on the disciplinary orientation
(grappling, striking, and mixed styles), as well as age, gender, and morphofunctional
characteristics of athletes. The principles of structuring the training process are
revealed, ensuring effective development of strength, endurance, speed, agility, and
flexibility in competitive environments. Methodological approaches to the
individualization and adaptation of training loads are presented, and the significance
of a comprehensive approach to the development of physical abilities in the context
of long-term athletic training is substantiated. It is noted that scientifically based
planning of physical training contributes not only to improved athletic performance,
but also to injury prevention and the formation of stable adaptation of the body to
the stress factors of the sports environment
