PHONOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF MILITARY COMMAND TERMS IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK LANGUAGES
Abstract
This article focuses on the phonological features of military command
terms in English and Uzbek. Military commands are communicative units that must
be understood quickly and clearly. Their phonological structure is associated with
factors such as pitch, stress, intonation, and phonetic reduction. The study compares
the phonological aspects of military commands, analyzing their commonalities and
differences in the two languages. The results indicate significant differences in
sound systems, stress patterns, and rhythm between English and Uzbek military
commands, which impact their pronunciation and comprehension.
