METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR IMPROVING SPEECH IN THE CONTEXT OF THE SOCIOCULTURAL COMPETENCE OF THE FUTURE ENGLISH TEACHER

Description

: In the field of foreign language education, the sociocultural
competence of future language teachers plays a critical role in the effective delivery
of language instruction. For English teachers, particularly, sociocultural competence
encompasses the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to understand and
navigate cultural differences while teaching the English language. This competence
is closely linked to the development of effective speech, as it enables teachers to
communicate not only linguistically but also culturally. As such, improving speech
in the context of sociocultural competence is a key objective in the preparation of
future English language educators.
