Abstract

This article explores Mahmudkhodja Behbudi’s contributions to educational reforms in Turkestan. As
a leading figure of the Jadid movement, Behbudi dedicated significant efforts to modernizing the education
system and fostering national consciousness. The study analyzes his educational views, his attempts to integrate
traditional and modern knowledge, and his role in promoting gender equality.
